Mac And Cheese Studd Siblings Will Studd La Couronne Comte Le Dauphin Double Creme

Ingredients

Method

(1) Preheat oven to 220 °C/ 425 F
(2) Cook the macaroni in a large pan of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and put back in pot with a small knob of butter to lightly coat it. Put to the side
(3) Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan on a medium heat
(4) Add the flour, stir for 1 minute over medium-low heat
(5) Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until smooth, reduce heat and simmer
(6) Discard rind (or eat the rind on a cracker!) of the Le Dauphin Double Creme and add in until melted.
(7) Slowly add 1/2 the grated La Couronne- Fort Aged Comte until melted and smooth
(8) Add the pasta to an oven proof dish. Pour cheesy sauce over the pasta and stir until well coated
(9) Sprinkle with Panko crumbs and remaining La Couronne Comte
(10) Bake in the oven until top is bubbling and golden

Serve with fresh green butter lettuce with light lemon dressing on the side
